North Ossetia: over 100 local Armenians hold flash mob in support of fellow countrymen

Armenians living in North Ossetia have staged a flash mob in Vladikavkaz in solidarity with the Armenian opposition, who achieved Serzh Sargsyan's resignation.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 23, Serzh Sargsyan, a former President, who had been elected by the MPs to the post of Prime Minister only six days before, announced his resignation. He explained that he was fulfilling the opposition's demand.

In North Ossetia, about 100 Armenians drove in their cars along Vladikavkaz streets with flags of Armenia, and then gathered in the yard of the Armenian Church. Thus, they expressed their satisfaction with the fact that the Armenian opposition had achieved the resignation of the newly appointed Prime Minister, the GTRK (State TV and Radio Company) "Alania" has reported.

"We wanted to support our brothers in Armenia by stating that we are with them and that we are in solidarity with them. We wanted to urge power structures not to use force against protesters," the GTRK quotes Armen Elizbaryan, a flash mob participant.
