Journalist of Chechen GTRK "Grozny" killed in Syria
In Damascus, Syrian citizen Ihab Balan, a freelance correspondent of the Chechen State TV and Radio Company (GTRK) "Grozny", was killed by an "intentional shot," reported Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya.
Ramzan Kadyrov holds the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS) banned in Russia responsible for the death of Ihab Balan.
"The terrorists of the Iblis (satanic, note of the 'Caucasian Knot') state once again showed their true face by killing a young man of the most peaceful profession," Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on his page in VKontakte.
According to the leader of Chechnya, the journalist cooperated with the Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov Regional Public Foundation. The Ihab Balan's family members will get financial aid from the Foundation.
