Four natives of Caucasus in Forbes' top 20
According to Forbes, Dagestani natives Leonid Mikhelson and Suleiman Kerimov, as well as Vagit Alekperov and Gennady Timchenko, natives of Southern Caucasus, entered the top 20 of the richest Russian businessmen in Russia in 2018.
Leonid Mikhelson, born in Kaspiysk, took the third place. His fortune is estimated at 18 billion US dollars.
The fourth place went to Vagit Alekperov, a native of Azerbaijan, the president of the oil company "Lukoil", with his fortune of 16.4 billion US dollars.
Suleiman Kerimov with his 6.4 billion US dollars, whose family owns a controlling stake of the Makhachkala Airport, took the twentieth place.
