EU allocates over half a million euro to Tbilisi Mayoralty

The European Union has allocated a grant in the amount of 506,634 euros to Tbilisi for support local entrepreneurs.

The money will be sent to a four-year project to support start-ups and small entrepreneurs. To do that, Tbilisi will create a business accelerator, and any company will be able to address it in the Georgian capital. Businessmen may be provided with a free working space and advice on various issues.

Websites and business plans will be developed for the top 100 most successful companies, and potential partners will be found for them. Furthermore, about 30 exhibitions-sales will be held for entrepreneurs.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has repeatedly reported the EU's financial assistance to Georgia. So, in October 2016, the EU allocated 30 million US dollars to the country for reforming the state administration.
