Law enforcers search houses of Dagestani Prime Minister and his deputies

FSB agents started searches at the places of Abdusamad Gamidov, the acting government head, and his deputies Shamil Isaev and Rayudin Yusufov. This was reported by sources of the "Chernovik" (Draft) in the law enforcement bodies.

Rayudin Yusufov combines the post of the Vice Prime Minister with the post of the Dagestani Minister of Economy and Territorial Development, the "Novoe Delo" reports. According to the edition, all three officials were detained.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on February 2, law enforcers conducted searches in the building for the Architecture Department of the Makhachkala administration. Magomedrasul Gitinov, the chief architect of the city, was arrested on suspicion of abuse of power.

On February 1, the sources also reported on searches in the administration of the Tabasaran District.

Earlier, on January 24, Makhachkala Mayor Musa Musaev was arrested on the charge of abuse of power. Musa Musaev represents the interests of the "Mekegin" clan and, in particular, the interests of Abdusamad Gamidov. However, the criminal proceedings against the Mayor of Makhachkala are not an attempt to put pressure on the acting head of the government, suggest the journalists interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot".
