Kazim Nurmagomedov's relatives report his kidnapping to police

An application about the kidnapping of Kazim Nurmagomedov was submitted by his relatives to the on duty section of the Basmanny ROVD (District Interior Division) of Moscow. The Kazim’s whereabouts is still unknown, said his relatives.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, when he was leaving the courthouse, Kazim Nurmagomedov, a father of Shamil Nurmagomedov, accused of financing terrorists, was stopped by men in police uniform. They asked him to follow them to the ROVD under the pretext of checking his documents and his identification.

Shamil Nurmagomedov, a native of Makhachkala and the commercial director of a company registered in the Moscow Region, was accused of financing the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by court.

According to Imagadji Nurmagomedov, Kazim’s elder son, today, he has submitted an application on his father’s kidnapping to the above ROVD, since his relatives had supposed that Kazim was taken there.

"But when we arrived in the ROVD, together with the advocate Sheikhov, we were told that Kazim Nurmagomedov was not there and had not been brought there. Then, I wrote an application on my father's kidnapping; it was accepted and registered by the on duty section of the ROVD. Mr Sheikhov applied for his admission to Kazim Nurmagomedov as an advocate," Imagadji Nurmagomedov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Let us remind you that Shamil Nurmagomedov was accused of aiding and abetting terrorists after his brother Marat joined the IS*. The "Caucasian Knot" published an interview with their father Kazim Nurmagomedov entitled "Bring back alive: From Dagestan to ISIL* to return the son".

*"Islamic State" (IS, ISIL) is a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by court.
