Police finds authors of video with smoking child in North Ossetia

Policemen have drawn up a protocol on an administrative offense committed by the resident of North Ossetia, who, in their opinion, gave a cigarette to the child, the North-Ossetian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that social network users were outraged by the video with the smoking child, and the North-Ossetian Prosecutor's Office initiated a check.

At the demand of Mikhail Skokov, the head of the MIA, policemen identified the parents of the child and conducted a talk with them.

"It has been established that the child's uncle gave him the cigarette; a protocol was drawn up against him under the article of 'Involvement of a minor in smoking tobacco'. The child's family has been taken under control," the website of the republic's MIA reports.

The above article provides for imposition of a fine from 1000 to 2000 roubles.
