One of Gubden casualties was Deputy

A Deputy's ID certificate, found at the venue of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) in the Dagestan village of Gubden, belonged to one of the casualties, Magomed-Khabib Kasimov, who earlier was a Deputy of the People's Assembly of the Karabudakhkent District, the administration has confirmed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 16, Gubden was put under the CTO regime. Law enforcers blocked a private house, and in the morning on December 17 entered into a shootout with the alleged militants, who were hiding in the house. The CTO regime was lifted after the three men in the house were killed.

A Deputy's ID card was found in the venue of the Gubden CTO. It was issued to Magomed-Khabib Kasimov, who was a member of the district assembly of the first convocation, the press service of the administration of the Karabudakhkent District has announced today.

Magomed-Khabib Kasimov, the owner of the ID card, was among the three CTO casualties. Kasimov helped militants; and he was the owner of the house that was stormed by law enforcers, a source said today.
