Gukovo authorities refuse to sanction miners' indefinite pickets

The Gukovo administration has not sanctioned a notification of indefinite pickets to be held starting from December 7 for the miners who are trying to get their wages.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the miners, who worked at the mines of the "Kingcoal" Company in the Rostov Region, demand to pay wage arrears. According to the calculations run by the initiative group, the Company's debt to the miners 374 million roubles.

Today, Tatiana Avacheva, a member of the miners' initiative group, has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the Gukovo administration refused to approve the notification of indefinite pickets submitted by the miners on December 4.

According to Tatiana Avacheva, on Monday, December 11, the miners intend to submit another notification of a picket. "So far, we will submit notifications for one-day pickets. We will likely hold them twice a week," noted the member of the miners' initiative group.
