In Tbilisi, eight families complain of destruction of apartments in special operation

In Tbilisi, three out of eight appeals filed by city residents about complete destruction of their apartments as a result of a special operation have been confirmed, reported the Isani District administration.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that starting from the evening on November 21, a special operation was conducted in Gabriel Salos Street in the Isani District of Tbilisi. It was completed in the evening on November 22. During the special operation, a special troop's fighter was killed, three persons suspected of terrorist activities were also killed and another was detained, reported the Georgian State Security Service. According to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), four special troop's fighters were wounded.

As a result of the special operation, at least eight residential apartments have been damaged, reported the Isani District administration in Tbilisi.

"Yesterday [on November 22], eight families appealed to the Isani District Administration. Of them, the appeals of three families have already been met, and five others are waiting for assessments whether they will be able to live in their apartments. If the experts' conclusion state they cannot live in those apartments, then we will rent housing for them," stated an official from the Isani District administration.
