Landmine wounds police officer
The commander of a traffic police unit from Perm was wounded as a result of the detonation of a landmine in Chechnya's Urus-Martan district, Interfax says.
A source with republican law enforcement agencies confirmed this information. The incident occurred not far from Martan-Chu on 22 June, according to Caucasian Knot's interlocutor.
"The officer was admitted to hospital and the doctors currently assess his condition as satisfactory," the source said.
