Anonyms massively send letters about terror acts in Rostov-on-Don and Volgograd

On November 9, the Volgograd emergency services got to their mailboxes the letters reporting preparation of terror acts. Anonymous letters alleged that bombs had been planted in cinemas, schools, and shopping centres. Anonymous authors noted law enforcers have one day only to find explosive devices, the Volgograd edition "City News" reports.

According to the edition, the law enforcement agencies of the region have asked local residents "to keep calm, since such letters are only empty threats."

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in September, multiple bomb threats were received by the police in different Russian cities, including in Southern Russia.

In Rostov-on-Don, emergency services also got letters threatening with terror acts. Anonymous authors reported that they had planted several bombs in the city. Officials from the Investigating Department for the Rostov Region of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) have already begun searching for the author of the messages, the "Bloknot-Rostov-on-Don" reports.

Full text of the article is available on the Russian page of 24/7 Internet agency ‘Caucasian Knot’.
