Circumstances of Amina Okueva's funeral give rise to new version of shelling in Kiev

The secrecy of the Amina Okueva's funeral has provoked a version that the woman did not die, reported an agent from the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 30, Adam Osmaev was wounded, and his wife Amina Okueva was killed when their car was shelled near Kiev.

Adam Osmaev saw a "Russian trace" in the killing of his wife. On November 1, Ramzan Kadyrov claimed that the Ukrainian secret services were involved in Amina Okueva's killing.

The agent from the Security Service of Ukraine believes the Amina Okueva's death was staged, reported Konstantin Knyrik, the editor-in-chief of the news agency "Novostoi Front".

The attackers had an aim to kill Adam Osmaev, and an attempt on him could be a revenge of former fighters from the Chechen battalion named after Djokhar Dudaev. This opinion was expressed by battalion fighters.

In 2015, after the death of battalion commander Isa Munaev, his deputy Adam Osmaev declared himself to be a new commander and overtook the control over financial assistance to the battalion, the "Strana.ua" reports.

The battalion received help from Chechen Diasporas in the United States, Europe, and Turkey, and more than 3 million US dollars were raised, the battalion fighters reported. "That caused a conflict. And fighters severely demanded from Adam Osmaev to report for the money spent," the edition reports.
