Chechen "Rosgvardia" fighters killed at point-blank by a native of Dagestan

In Chechnya, a serviceman of the "Rosgvardia" (Russian National Guard) killed his colleagues after a conflict with them, the shots were fired "practically at point-blank," said a source from the Military Commandant's Office of Chechnya.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today a serviceman of the "Rosgvardia" unit stationed in Chechnya opened fire in the barracks and mortally wounded four of his colleagues.

According to the above source, the Military Prosecutor's Office is investigating the circumstances of the incident that occurred in the unit of the "Rosgvardia" stationed in the village of Shelkovskaya.

"The direct commanders and colleagues of the killer and his victims are questioned. Presumably, the officer had a conflict with his colleagues, after which he shot them dead from his service firearm. The shooting was practically point-blank; the casualties had practically no chances to survive," a source from the Military Commandant's Office told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The Senior Lieutenant of the "Rosgvardia", who has shot dead his colleagues in Chechnya, was a native of Dagestan, a source from power structures of Chechnya told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. "At an attempt to detain him, the officer rendered armed resistance," said the source, adding that he was "killed by response fire."
