Two out of five persons wounded in an armed attack on the party's election office in the Marneuli District of Georgia are in grave condition.

The attack on the office of the "Georgian Dream" Party, located in the village of Kiziladjlo was committed in the evening on October 19. Among the wounded ones, there is Djekhun Chovdarov, a party candidate.

"The condition of two patients remains stably grave because of abdominal cavity wounds," the doctor Teya Zaridze said on air of the Georgian Public Broadcaster.

The main versions of the incident have not been announced yet.

According to Teimuraz Abazov, a candidate for the Mayor of Marneuli from the "Georgian Dream" Party, "the shooting could be connected with some intra-party confrontation." The attacker has not been identified yet.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the elections in Georgia are scheduled for October 21. On October 16, leaders of 14 Georgian non-parliamentary parties told international observers that the "Georgian Dream" Party was using its administrative resources and pressure on oppositional candidates.
