Chechen authorities show Tatiana Moskalkova two persons from "execution list"

On September 20, two residents of Chechnya, earlier declared dead, were delivered to Grozny to meet Tatiana Moskalkova, Russia's Ombudsperson. This was reported by the Chechen authorities.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 19, Tatiana Moskalkova, Russia's Ombudsperson, flew to Grozny to discuss with officials from the Chechen law enforcement agencies and rights defenders the protection of the local residents' rights.

At a meeting with Ramzan Kadyrov, Tatiana Moskalkova said she managed to meet two Chechen residents. "They were brought to Grozny, and I checked all the information. They were taken away from their home, and, of course, they were unhappy to be recalled from their occupations. But the truth is more important! Two persons from the 'execution list' died from natural reasons," reported Tatiana Moskalkova as quoted by the press service for the Chechen leader and government.

According to Ramzan Kadyrov, the main result of the Tatiana Moskalkova's visit is in "the establishment of truth with the lists published by the media," reports the website of the Chechen leader.

"As a result, it has been found out that two persons mentioned in the list are alive at home and engaged in agricultural activities, while others died from natural reasons or during special operations against members of illegal armed formations (IAFs)," wrote the leader of Chechnya in his Instagram.
