Azerbaijan registers 127 cases of shelling per day

During the past 24 hours, the Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire regime 127 times at the contact line. This has been reported by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD).

The armed forces of Azerbaijan were shelled "from the positions in the Shavarshavan village and on the nameless heights in the territory of the Noyemberyan District, in the Paravakar village and on the nameless heights in the Idjevan District, in the villages of Aigepar, Mosesgekh, and Chinari of the Berd District and on the nameless heights in the territory of Krasnoselsky District of Armenia," reports the website of the Azerbaijani MoD.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD's officials, the shelling was also conducted from the positions on the nameless heights in the Goranboy, Terter, Agdam, Khodjavend, and Fuzuli Districts.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 19, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 125 cases of shelling with the use of machine guns. On September 18, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 118 cases of shelling per day, and a day earlier of 144 cases of shelling. Meanwhile, Nagorno-Karabakh claimed that in the period from September 10 to September 16, about 1500 shots had been fired from the Azerbaijani side.
