Two picketers and coordinator of miners' protests fined in Gukovo

The court has fined Tatiana Avachova, the coordinator of miners’ protests in the Rostov Region, by 10,000 roubles, and both today's solo picketers – by 20,000 roubles each.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today in Gukovo policemen detained two solo picketers and Tatiana Avachova.

Since the spring of 2016, "Kingcoal" miners have been regularly protesting in Gukovo and Rostov-on-Don, demanding repayment of their salary debts and issuance of ration coal.

Tatiana Avachova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that today she was taken to a police station, where she was guarded by a policeman and not allowed to use her phone, initially even for telling her mother about the detention.

According to her story, she could not reach her advocate and agreed to the services of the on duty defender. Tatiana has noted that the advocate was good at defending her; however, the court still fined her by 10,000 roubles as the organizer of the action. The picketers, Andrei Sizykh and Nikolai Bragin, were fined by 20,000 roubles each. After the trial, all of them were released.
