Yerevan: suspects of shooting named
Law enforcers suggest that three residents of Armenia were involved in killing Garik Mosinyan and wounding Vaagn Abgaryan. The aim of the attack was to shoot Abgaryan, the Investigating Committee reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 14, a shooting occurred in front of the "Tufenkyan" Hotel in Yerevan. Garik Mosinyan, a 43-year-old resident of the Lori Region was killed; and the 39-year-old Vaagn Abgaryan was wounded. Today, doctors have assessed his condition after a surgery as satisfactory.
Three citizens of Armenia are suspected of killing Mosinyan, namely, Rafik Khachatryan, born in 1957, Albert Blbulyan, born in 1982, and Armen Karadavidov, born in 1984, a source from the press service of the Armenian Police told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, adding that the police "are taking all measures" to find the criminals.
Investigators assume that the attack was pre-planned; according to the preliminary version, Vaagn Abgaryan, presumably involved in criminal circles, was the attackers’ main target, the "Sputnik Armenia" has reported today.
