Two Chechen children returned from Iraq

Today, two natives of Chechnya have been delivered to Russia from Iraq.

Tonight, an eight-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy from Chechen families were delivered to Moscow by plane from Baghdad.

They are accompanied by Ziyad Sabsabi, the representative to the leader of Chechnya in the Middle East and North Africa and a member of the Federation Council. This was reported by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov on his page in Instagram.

It should be noted that supporters of radical organizations bring their family members to Syria and Iraq, since they are not going to return to homeland. This was explained by a former militant, disappointed in the ideas of the "Islamic State" (IS) banned in Russia by the court's decision. Little-known information about the IS* and evidence of a person who used to be its member are represented by the "Caucasian Knot" in an interview "Journey to the 'Islamic State'* and back".

Meanwhile, families of militants who have left for Syria and Iraq are experiencing financial difficulties. This was claimed by a native of Dagestan, also disillusioned with the ideals of militants, who managed to get out of the territory controlled by terrorists. Read more in the material of the "Caucasian Knot" entitled "Safari in Syrian way. Tale of a former militant who escaped from ISIL*".

* "Islamic State" (IS, earlier, ISIL) was recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in Russia by the court's decision.
