North Ossetia: observers prevent ballot throw-in

Members of the association "People's Observer" have revealed a number of violations at polling stations in North Ossetia, Dmitry Reisikh, the initiator of the action, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today residents of North Ossetia elected members of the republic’s legislative assembly.

At polling stations Nos. 245 and 311 "attempts were made to throw in ballots," said Dmitry Reisikh.

Also, according to observers, some ballot boxes were not sealed; and election commissions failed to provide data on vote tabulation. "All this is recorded; and we send complaints to the Central Election Commission (CEC)," Dmitry has explained, noting that all the activists of the "People's Observer" were assigned to political parties, in particular, the “Edinaya Rossiya” (United Russia), “Spravedlivaya Rossiya” (Fair Russia), Liberal-Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) and “Rodina” (Motherland), and received observers’ mandates. Nevertheless, they "just try working objectively" and fix violations.
