Three alleged militants shot dead in North Ossetia

Power agents have killed three persons, who, according to the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), had planned to attack law enforcers.

In the vicinity of the North-Ossetian village of Chmi, power agents found submachine guns, grenades and an improvised explosive device (IED).

The casualties had sworn allegiance to the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS) banned in Russia. The village was put under the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime, the "Interfax" reports referring to its source.

On August 1, North-Ossetian border guards reported the detention of a militant recruiter.
