NAC reports two killed militants in Khasavyurt

During the armed clash in the outskirt of Khasavyurt, two members of the "Khasavyurt" militant grouping were killed; and also two power agents perished, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) of Russia reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today power agents found several members of the "Khasavyurt" grouping in the village of Balyurt. In the course of the undertaken counterterrorist operation (CTO), a law enforcer was killed, and another one was wounded, the NAC had reported earlier.

The militants killed during the CTO have not been identified yet. Two power agents died from the wounds sustained during the shootout, according to the NAC; there were no victims among civilians.

The militants left automatic firearms, ammunition, grenades and non-extractable improvised explosion devices (IEDs) in the venue.
