A man injured in aircraft collision with car in Chechnya
In the Shelkovskaya District of Chechnya, while attempting to take off, a light-motor aircraft crashed into a parked car. The pilot was hospitalized in a state of moderate gravity.
According to the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE), the accident occurred on the outskirts of the Cossack village of Chervlyonnaya in the evening on August 7.
Aslambek Nazirov, the acting chief of the Chechen road police (known as GIBDD), reported that a Spector-Aero aircraft crashed into a car parked by road. As a result, the pilot hit his face and was hospitalized. The car stayed without driver inside.
According to Khizrail Visarazov, the acting head of the investigation department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in the Shelkovskaya District, the crashed aircraft is private.
According to the preliminary information, the pilot got no permission to perform a flight, the TASS quotes an official from the Chechen MfE as stating.
