In Gelendzhik, organizers of rally accuse authorities of ignoring their demands

In Gelendzhik, officials have not come out to participants of a rally of deceived real estate investors and property owners, who fell victim to a fraud with the general plan of the city, and the state-owned media are spreading false information about the protest action. This was announced by organizers of the rally.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 5, in Gelendzhik, owners of cottages and land plots in the village of Pushkinsky Dol, who fell victim to a fraud with land plots, held a protest action.

"The rally was held in the street. No officials from the Mayor's Office or judges have come out to the protestors to comment on the claims against them," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by wheelchair user Alexander Eremeev, one of the organizers of the rally.

According to him, right after the rally has ended, a number of media have disseminated false information about a "constructive dialogue" of officials with people who fell victim to fraudsters.

"The pro-authority mass media misinformed the population about the rally in Gelendzhik," Alexander Eremeev has summarized.

Advocate Mikhail Benyash, representing the interests of 158 victims in the case of the fraud with the land plots in the village of Pushkinsky Dol, has stated that the mass actions will continue if Victor Khrestin, City Mayor, does not respond to the demands of the deceived people to solve their problems.
