Commission finds no violations committed by Judge Khakhaleva at wedding party

The Commission of the Council of Judges for the Krasnodar Territory, engaged in the audit provoked by reports on expenses for a wedding party for a daughter of Judge Elena Khakhaleva, has got "almost all" documents from the organizers of the holiday.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Council of Judges for the Krasnodar Territory began to verify reports on expenses for a wedding party for a daughter of Elena Khakhaleva, Judge of the Krasnodar Regional Court.

The public resonance was provoked by the reports that, according to Moscow advocate Sergei Zhorin, two million US dollars were spent for the wedding party for the Elena Khakhaleva's daughter. In response to the information about the inconsistency of her income to the costs of the wedding celebrations, Elena Khakhaleva herself stated that her former husband Robert Khakhalev took upon himself all the expenses for the daughter's wedding party.

The Commission of the Council of Judges for the Krasnodar Territory has got "almost all" documents from the wedding celebration organizers, including agreements for the provision of services, papers on the organization of the banquet and the rent of the premises, but the information is not sufficient to make final conclusions. This was reported by Vladimir Kislyak, the chairman of the Council of Judges for the KrasnodarTerritory.

"At present, I cannot disclose the total amount, since there are some points which we would also like to draw attention to. We will certainly release all the information in the final conclusion. At present, I can say only one thing: according to the papers, the event celebrations were ordered by Robert Onikovich Khakhalev," reported Vladimir Kislyak as quoted today by the RIA "Novosti".

The audit is expected to be completed no later than on July 24, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
