Zaur Dadaev declares his innocence and describes his everyday life in prison
After the guilty verdict pronounced in the case of the Boris Nemtsov's murder, Zaur Dadaev still does not admit his guilt. He called suspicious the long discussion of the verdict by the jury. The man has said that he holds the fasting in prison and reads books on history.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that investigators call Lieutenant Zaur Dadaev, a former officer of the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MIA), a killed of Boris Nemtsov.
Zaur Dadaev has repeated his statements about torture after his detention. He has added that all the other defendants are also not guilty.
He has also said that he prays a lot and still holds the fasting, and his relatives send him Islamic books.
On June 30, Heather Nauert, the spokesperson for the United States Department of State, announced that the US welcomes the verdict in the case of the Boris Nemtsov's murder. She called Boris Nemtsov "an advocate of democracy and human rights" and emphasized that he was "cruelly killed in several steps from the Kremlin," the "TASS" reports.
The British Foreign Office has also called on the Russian authorities to continue investigating the murder of Boris Nemtsov.
On June 30, on the air of the "Dozhd" (Rain) TV Channel, Djambulat Umarov, Minister of Chechnya on National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information, stated that the Boris Nemtsov's murder involved agents of the "Western secret services."
