Arbitrary detentions continue

Officers of law enforcement / security agencies abducted a Samashki resident, Huseyn Suleymanov, in Davydenko, Achkhoy-Martan district, on 26 March. The young man is reported to have been at a close relative's, using a medicine dropper. Local residents say the military men who were conducting a clean-up operation in the village burst into the house and dragged Suleymanov out beating him severely. They threw him into one of their cars and took away without indicating the destination. The young man's relatives think he was delivered to the Achkhoy-Martan district Federal Security Service Department. This is what the Council of Non-Governmental Organisations says.
