Number of detainees after Makhachkala rally reaches four

Four participants of the anti-corruption rally were taken to the Sovietsky ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala, Larissa Bachieva, one of the organizers of the rally, has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the anti-corruption rally began today at 3:00 p.m. Moscow time in the 50th Victory Anniversary Park in Makhachkala. Over 300 residents of Dagestan gathered there. Later, eyewitnesses claimed the detention of two participants of the rally – Abdullah Gabibulaev and Zagalav Somoev.

"The detainee Zagalav Somoev was brought to the Sovietsky ROVD; later, Patimat Gadjieva, who spoke at the rally and criticized Vladimir Putin, was also brought there. After her speech, she, together with the public figure Louiza Suleimanova, was forced by policemen into a car and taken to the above ROVD. Suleimanova was soon released, but Gadjieva is still kept therein, "Larissa Bachieva told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent at 8:30 p.m. Moscow time.

According to her story, "about ten participants of the rally are near the Sovietsky ROVD of Makhachkala demanding to release the detainees."
