Volgograd law enforcers search house of Alexei Navalny's supporter because of collage about monument "The Motherland Calls"

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the post with a decorated image of the monument "The Motherland Calls" placed on social networks. On the above case, a search is under way at a house of the head of the Alexei Navalny's Volgograd headquarters. This has been reported by Leonid Volkov, the leader of the election campaign of Alexei Navalny.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in March, a decorated image of the monument "The Motherland Calls" was placed on social networks. For several hours, it can be seen on the page of supporters of Alexei Navalny and then it was deleted. On March 24, at the opening of the headquarters in Volgograd, Alexei Navalny apologized for the image.

Today, on his page in Twitter, Leonid Volkov, the leader of the election campaign of Alexei Navalny, has reported that in Volgograd, the law enforcement agencies instituted a criminal case on the fact of rehabilitation of Nazism in connection with the publication of the decorated image of the monument.

According to Leonid Volkov, the criminal case was instituted under Paragraph 3 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the dissemination of the data expressing obvious disrespect to the public about the days of military glory and the memorable dates of Russia associated with the protection of the Motherland, as well as the desecration of the symbols of the military glory of Russia, committed in public).
