Body of alleged kidnappers' son found in Volgograd Region

The body of a four-year-old foster child, whose parents are suspected of kidnapping a three-year-old boy in the Rostov Region, was found in the outskirt of the Yarskoy farmstead of the Volgograd Region, investigators report.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 7 in the town of Morozovsk, Rostov Region, a man and a woman kidnapped a three-year-old boy and fled. On May 8, the boy was found in the Volgograd Region.

In the Volgograd Region, investigators found the body of the child, whose death is ascribed to his adoptive parents, who had earlier kidnapped a three-year-old boy near Rostov-on-Don. This was reported by Svetlana Petrenko, the spokesperson of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

The alleged kidnappers are rearing five minor children, of whom four are foster children. In September 2016, one of their adoptive children disappeared – a four-year-old boy played in a sandbox near the house, from where he allegedly disappeared. Investigators put forward a version that foster parents could kill him, the "Interfax" reports.
