Child kidnapped in Rostov Region found

A three-year-old child, kidnapped in Morozovsk, has been found alive and healthy, and his kidnappers have been detained. This was reported by the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the afternoon of May 7, in the town of Morozovsk of the Rostov Region, a man and a woman kidnapped a three-year-old child and fled in a dark green VAZ-2107 car with state registration numbers of the Volgograd Region. According to eyewitnesses, the female kidnapper used a gas spray can to take the child away from his grandmother.

On May 8, the three-year-old boy kidnapped in Morozovsk was found in the territory of the Volgograd Region, the "Interfax" reports with reference to Svetlana Petrenko, the official spokesperson for the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation.

According to Svetlana Petrenko, the child was examined by physicians, and they detected no threats to his life and health state.

The kidnappers of the boy have been detained. The investigation is underway to reveal the motives and circumstances of the crime.
