Participants of "Nadoel!" action in Krasnodar write letters to Putin

Today, about 50 persons took part in the "Nadoel!" (Sick and Tired) action in Krasnodar.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today the action "Nadoel!" was held in several cities of Russia; it was organized by the network movement "The Open Russia". The action was supported, in particular, by residents of Rostov-on-Don.

Initially, some 300 persons had planned to take part in the "Nadoel!" action in Krasnodar; however, only about 60 of them gathered in the 30th Victory Anniversary Park, as Yana Antonova, the coordinator of the Krasnodar branch of "The Open Russia", told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

In her opinion, "this was due to the remoteness of the place, where the action was sanctioned by the authorities."

Ms Antonova said that the participants of the action "Nadoel!" wrote letters to President, which will be handed over by activists of "The Open Russia" to the presidential reception office.

"Everyone writes individually; and we don’t know what. I think, letters will contain an appeal to Vladimir Putin not to run for another presidential term," said Yana Antonova.

The young people, who take part in the action, are unhappy with what happens in the country, Nikita Smirnov, an activist, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. "We support all the movements that oppose this regime,” he said, noting that he plans to participate in all the protest actions that will be held in Krasnodar. "I fear for my future, which I don’t have with this regime and with this government," he said.
