Violations registered at presidential election in South Ossetia

In North Ossetia, attempts to re-vote and bring completed ballots were registered at a polling station.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 9, South Ossetia holds the presidential election and the referendum on renaming the republic to Alania. Apart from 72 polling stations in South Ossetia, the voting also takes place at three polling stations in North Ossetia, and there are also two polling stations in Moscow and Sukhumi.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about violations at a polling station located in the North-Ossetian village of Oktyabrskoe by an observer from the Anatoly Bibilov's headquarters.

"Three voters were caught, who brought to the polling station filled-in ballots," said the source.

According to the observer, the polling station was crowded with people and a crush and mess occurred. At the moment, voters who have already voted at another polling station tried to vote again. There were several such cases.

"There were already two seals in the voters' passports. That means that they have already managed to vote twice and tried to vote for the third time," noted the observer.
