Oleg Petrov faces deterioration of health state, his defence asserts

Kuban farmer Oleg Petrov, who is on hunger strike to protest against the criminal prosecution, feels worse. However, there is no control over his health state at the pre-trial prison, his defence asserts.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 30, activist Oleg Petrov, who was accused of fraud, was arrested by the court' decision. In protest, the farmer went on hunger strike.

The defence has notified the investigator and the pre-trial prison administration that the farmer had started his hunger strike. However, they ignored the report, states advocate Vladimir Shamshurov. According to him, the health of the farmer is deteriorating, and he is getting no medical care.

Today, Vladimir Shamshurov has filed a complaint about the Oleg Petrov's arrest to the Caucasian District Court.

According to Elena, the wife of Oleg Petrov, at present, she is "forced to take the control over the peasant farming, since the sowing campaign begins," although she has a "newborn baby in her arms."

Let us remind you that according to investigators, Oleg Petrov forged documents on the existence of debt to him from the peasant farming, which was in the stage of bankruptcy. Nikolai Borodin, another farmer, is also involved in the case.
