Ramzan Kadyrov acknowledges law enforcers' fault in connection with attack on National Guard

In Chechnya, after the attack on a military unit of the National Guard of Russia, the alertness of the law enforcers will be increased. This was announced by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. He has described the incident in the Cossack village of Naurskaya as a fault of the law enforcement agencies.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 24, an attack was committed on the checkpoint of the military camp of the “Rosgvardia” (National Guard of Russia), the responsibility for which was claimed by the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia. Six servicemen were killed, and three others wounded. Six attackers were also killed.

On air of the "Russia-24" TV Channel, Ramzan Kadyrov has promised that such cases will not ever happen again.

"We are very attentive to everything related to security. The incident which has happened is our fault, a shortcoming of the law enforcement agencies. Now, the alertness of all structures will be increased, and we will not have such cases in the republic again," said Ramzan Kadyrov.

According to the Chechen leader, the Cossack village of Naurskaya has always been a peaceful area.

"We have calmed down too much. It used to be a peaceful area at all times, and we did not expect anything like that incident to happen," noted Ramzan Kadyrov as quoted by the "Interfax".
