Whereabouts of Rizvan Minazov, resident of Grozny, established

Rizvan Minazov, a resident of the Staropromyslovsky District of Grozny, whose kidnapping was reported by his relatives, is in the police station, said an activist of one of local public organizations.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Rizvan Minazov, 28, was kidnapped on March 24 from his home in Grozny by armed men and taken away to some unknown place. Relatives of Minazov reported this to the "Caucasian Knot"; and a source from the Chechen MIA has added that Rizvan Minazov is suspected of involvement in the events in the Naursky District.

According to an activist of one of the Chechen NGOs, the whereabouts of Minazov has been established – he is kept at one of the police stations.

In their conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, Minazov’s relatives have confirmed this information. "We’ve found him; and we were told that he would be released soon," the detainee's sister told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
