NKR’s CEC would not disclose list of international observers until referendum day

In the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced the decision not to disclose the list of foreign observers at the constitutional referendum until its very day. According to the CEC, prior to the referendum, the main propaganda activities rest with the political forces supporting or opposing the adoption of the new Constitution.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the discussion of the new draft Constitution of the NKR was started in March 2016, and a referendum thereon was scheduled for February 20.

"All the necessary organizational arrangements to hold the referendum on a high level have already been made. On February 18, a press centre will start its activities, and we will meet international observers and journalists," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Srbuhi Arzumanyan, the chair of the NKR’s CEC. She has also added that the lists of foreign guests are not to be released until the referendum day.
