Kadyrov accuses relatives of field commander Muskiev of preparing resonant crimes

Several young people, who were preparing a series of crimes, were detained in the village of Tsotsi-Yurt; a family member of Isa Muskiev, one of the militant leaders, killed in 2006, is among the detainees. Muskiev's relatives prepared "bloodshed," said Kadyrov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Isa Muskiev, the leader of the militant grouping that operated in the Kurchaloi District, was killed in a shootout with law enforcers in September 2006.

According to Kadyrov, among the detainees, there is an Isa Muskiev's relative, whom Kadyrov accused, along with his brother Ali Muskiev of involvement in the killings of more than 100 residents of Tsotsi-Yurt. Kadyrov asserts that Muskiev's relatives were plotting crimes, instead of "repenting to residents of Tsotsi-Yurt and the whole Chechen people."

The head of the republic did not specify the exact number of detainees.

Let us remind you that the issue of the responsibility of militants' relatives for the acts committed by members of their families was repeatedly raised by Chechen authorities.

Relatives of residents of Chechnya, who had been announced to be militants, also complained about dismissals from work and detentions.
