Law enforcers report names of persons suspected of plotting terror acts in Ingushetia and Moscow

Five persons detained during a special operation and suspected of plotting terror acts are charged. One of them, Magomed Amatkhanov, has admitted that he stayed in Syria and was a member of the "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia by court.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 15, the FSB reported on detention of five members of a grouping associated with the "Islamic State", banned in Russia by court. They were arrested as persons suspected of plotting terror acts in Ingushetia and Moscow.

All five detainees have been already charged under Part 2 of Article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code of (a terror act or preparation of a terror act committed by an armed grouping), reports a source of the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent from the law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia.

According to the source, the names of the detainees are Salamkhan Sampiev, Ruslan Esmurziev, Khusen Kitiev, Magomed Amatkhanov, and Elbert Kharsiev. They are residents of the villages of Ekazhevo and Yandare, the city of Malgobek and the Cossack village of Ordzhonikidzevskaya.

Law enforcers suggest that Magomed Amatkhanov, one of the suspects, went to Syria, but his family members spent a lot of time and money, found him and managed to return him home.

"According to the version of the detainee himself, to leave the IS, Magomed Amatkhanov had to say that his wife was very ill and his relatives insisted on his presence at home," explained the source.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by a relative of one of the suspects that he treats the case as fabricated.
