In Khasavyurt, at least six of mosque-goers still detained by police

In Khasavyurt, most of 200 detained believers of the "Hospital" mosque are released. According to mosque-goers, six persons who failed to have their IDs with them are still detained by the police.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 11, visitors of the "Hospital" mosque of Khasavyurt reported on a raid of law enforcers. According to local residents, during the raid, the police detained about 200 believers who came to the mosque for Friday prayer.

"The detainees told us that they were subjected to standard procedures. The people whose names were not on the prevention registration lists were registered. Some people, despite their registration at the police, had to undergo fingerprinting. The persons who had their IDs with them were identified and almost immediately released," said a believer.

Let us remind you that in Dagestan, believers of Salafi mosques are regularly detained and brought to police stations, where their names are included in the prevention registration lists.
