Father and coach of boy, knocked out by Ramzan Kadyrov's son, claim staged nature of fight

A boy, who was knocked out by a son of Ramzan Kadyrov during a performance fight in Grozny, was not injured, since the fight was staged and the winner was determined in advance. This was reported by the father of the defeated boy.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 4, in Grozny, the Grand Prix Akhmat-2016 tournament in mixed martial arts (MMA) involved the children's performances, won by three sons of Ramzan Kadyrov.

Members of the "Adyge Khase" demanded to check the legality of involvement of children in the fights without rules in Grozny. They have noted that during the performance fight, the 10-year-old knocked-out resident of Sochi partially lost consciousness.

According to Zamrat Shevkhuzhev, the father of the defeated boy, no actual knockout took place during the performance fight involving the boy from Sochi.

"It is actually an exaggeration to talk of a knockout," said Zamrat Shevkhuzhev in his interview to the newspaper "Moskovsky Komsomolets", published on the edition's website on October 10.

"The boys practiced and demonstrated strikes to the public. Everything was prepared in advance. One boy had to show tricks, and another a knockout," said the man. He has confirmed that his son was selected to play the role of an athlete to be knocked out, and the boy even rehearsed this role in advance.
