Children's MMA in Grozny provoke resonance on Internet

In Grozny, the Grand Prix Akhmat-2016 tournament in mixed martial arts (MMA) held the children's exhibition performance. They were won by three sons of Ramzan Kadyrov, 10, 9, and 8 years old. Internet users have strongly condemned the involvement of children in the competitions.

On October 4, Grozny hosted the Grand Prix Akhmat-2016 tournament in mixed martial arts. The competitions were devoted to the Day of Grozny, the "Grozny" TV Channel reports.

The children took part in duel meets in weight categories of up to 27, 33 and 35 kg and got championship belts.

10-year-old Akhmad Kadyrov knocked out his opponent Damir Shevkhuzhev from Sochi on the 14th second of the duel meet. Zelimkhan (Eli "Panther"), a 9-year-old son of Ramzan Kadyrov, defeated Daniil Shalakov, wrote Kadyrov on his Instagram page. And 8-year-old Adam "Leo" Kadyrov also defeated his rival, the "Dozhd" reports.

As it can be seen from the videos posted on the Internet, the young athletes took part in competitions without special protection and helmets, and when they were striking each other, they did not follow the rules every time. That fact aroused the indignation of many viewers.

In their comments, Ramzan Kadyrov's followers both praise the winners and express their surprise about too young athletes.
