Two regions of Southern Russia named among leaders by election frauds

Complaints about alleged violations during the elections were sent to the Central Election Commission (CEC) from 58 regions of Russia. As stated by the Ella Pamfilova, the Chair of the CEC, the Rostov Region and the Stavropol Territory are in the lead by the number of complaints.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today the CEC declared the elections of the State Duma MPs and outcomes valid. Four parties got into the State Duma of the seventh convocation: the "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia), the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), the Liberal-Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) and the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (Fair Russia).

On September 19-21, the CEC received 331 complaints about violations, Ms Pamfilova said.

According to her story, 31 complaints contained information on violations of the legislation. Should they be confirmed, the election outcomes may be cancelled by the court.

The voting outcomes were annulled at the polling station No. 1958 in Rostov-on-Don. A criminal case was opened against Nadezhda Evsenyova, the secretary of the precinct election commission, for falsification of election outcomes.

On the voting day, in the Dagestani village of Gotsatl, several young people broke the ballot box and started a fight. The election outcomes at the polling station No. 1669 were cancelled.
