Investigators report on four militants killed in Saint Petersburg

A special operation in a residential building in Leninsky Avenue is over, resulting in four killed militants, who are now being identified, said the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that this morning, in the high-rise building at 92-3 Leninsky Avenue in Saint Petersburg, power agents launched a special operation aimed to detain militants from Northern Caucasus.

"At detention, these persons rendered resistance and committed an obvious attempt on the life of law enforcers by opening fire. The four persons, who were in the blocked apartment, were liquidated by return fire. It should be noted that there are no victims among civilians and law enforcers," says the statement posted on the website of the ICRF.
