Experts identify role of Ramzan Kadyrov in pre-election list of "Edinaya Rossiya" Party

In the near future, Ramzan Kadyrov will not change his position of the leader of Chechnya for a deputy's mandate. This was stated by the experts, who commented on the inclusion of Ramzan Kadyrov together with other heads of the southern regions of Russia in the list of candidates for election to the State Duma.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that yesterday, it became known that Ramzan Kadyrov, the acting leader of Chechnya, was included in the pre-election list of the "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) Party.

Political analyst Dmitry Oreshkin also excludes the possibility of the Ramzan Kadyrov's entry to the State Duma.

"This is a symbolic step, since the ideas of the 'Edinaya Rossiya' Party does not include the issues of organization of life, including the economic ones. The focus is on the so-called 'union of peoples of Russia in the struggle against external enemy'," Dmitry Oreshkin has explained.

"Ramzan Kadyrov symbolizes the friendship of the people, the strength of the vertical, and the readiness to repel any external enemies... However, it is not the case," notes the political analyst.

Members of the movement "Voice" to protect the rights of voters have mentioned the practice of the "Edinaya Rossiya" Party to include well-known persons in the election lists as "locomotives".

According to Roman Udot, co-Chairman of the Board of the movement "Voice", such people support the "Edinaya Rossiya" Party and pass the mandate to the person next on the list, and after a person refuses the mandate, a candidate promoted by the elites comes to his place.
