Child injured in explosion of ammunition in Karabakh conflict zone
In the Terter District of Azerbaijan, an eight-year-old boy got burns in the explosion of ammunition.
The incident occurred in the frontline village of Askipara on June 15. The boy set fire on the garbage gathered in the yard, and then an explosion occurred.
The child was brought to the hospital with burns to his feet, and his condition is of moderate severity, the Azeri new agency "Report" reports. According to the "APA", the victim received medical aid and was discharged from the hospital.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 2, an escalation occurred in the Karabakh conflict zone, and on April 5, the parties to the conflict declared a truce. The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) is engaged in the activities in the frontline villages. Almost every day unexploded ammunitions are found.
