Volgograd residents protest against bad roads

A rally under the motto "Against bad roads, gold-worth gasoline and insurance" was held today in Volgograd. According to motorists, the condition of city roads continues deteriorating, which is why drivers are suffering losses by constantly changing the damaged parts of their vehicles.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Volgograd motorists are regularly holding protest actions, demanding to repair the city's bad roads. By their estimation, even those roads, for which repair funds had been allocated within the preparation for the Football World Cup-2018, are already all in potholes.

The participants of the today's rally said that their appeals to the authorities and supervisory bodies about poor city roads had brought no fruit, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

The action passed without any incidents and ended with adoption of a resolution addressed to the authorities demanding to ensure repair of roads, stop the insurers' practice of imposing additional services when documenting the CRI (Civil Responsibility Insurance), and "remove distortions" in the fuel pricing system.
