Ingushetia: 200 large families receive help from anonymous donator

In the course of a charity action, 200 large families in more than 20 settlements of Ingushetia received foodstuffs from an anonymous donator.

Magomed Tachiev, the spokesman of the "Tesham" Fund, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that they received 1000 kilos of butter, 10 tons of sugar and 10 tons of flour.

He added that last week the Fund was approached by donors, who wanted to make a sadaqah (a voluntary charity) in memory of their deceased relative. Their intention was to distribute the 870 kilos of meat, they transferred to the Fund, to poor and needy people.

Within the above action, each family received 50 kg of flour, 50 kg of sugar, 5 kg of butter and 5 kg of meat, said Tachiev, adding that on March 4 over 40 volunteers' cars moved throughout the republic distributing the foodstuffs.

Since 2015, the "Tesham" has been holding charity events every three months. On January 22, they provided help to 172 low-income families.
