CTO regime cancelled in Gimry

The restrictions introduced in the village of Gimry in connection with the counterterrorist operation (CTO), which resulted in killing Abdula Nustafaev, have been lifted.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the CTO regime was introduced in Gimry on October 24. During the CTO, Abdula Nustafaev was killed. According to the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), he was an active member of the local militant grouping and was involved in blowing up the Irganai HPP in September 2010. The NAC also reported that Nustafaev had sworn to the "Islamic State" (IS) (declared a terrorist organization in Russia and some other countries, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"); however, the experts, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot", have not confirmed this information.

At 6:00 p.m. today, the CTO regime in Gimry is cancelled, the TASS writes with reference to the source from the Operational Headquarters of the NAC in Dagestan.
